Fullstack
Software Engineer

5+ years of experience building web platforms, geospatial tools and SaaS products for travel, healthtech and edtech.

I design and ship end-to-end solutions: from architecture and APIs to polished frontends and production-ready deployments. Working with me means rapid iteration, clear thinking and code that scales.

How I partner with product teams

Whether we're migrating legacy platforms, architecting event-driven systems, or launching React Native apps, I keep the focus on reliable delivery, observable systems, and teams who feel supported.

Product-first architecture & delivery

From legacy migrations to greenfield features, I design services and UIs around your roadmap — shipping in small, predictable increments without adding management overhead.

Reliability through automation

CI/CD, tests, feature flags, and observability baked in so Node/Python services, background workers, and frontends stay stable and debuggable as the product grows.

Calm and clear collaboration

Comfortable in both synchronous and asynchronous workflows: I keep specs, updates, and trade-offs transparent for PMs, designers, and engineers across distributed teams.

Flexible, low-friction engagement

Available for part-time or contract roles across US, EU, and LATAM time zones, with invoicing via international platforms and, when needed, crypto-friendly payment options.

Need a calm engineer who owns the outcome?

I can jump in to shape a roadmap or drive a single initiative end to end. Tell me what you’re trying to build, and we’ll map out a realistic path together.

People I've worked with

Collaboration works best when it is personal and transparent.

Leah M.

Leah M.

Head of Product

Alex joined our team during a complex migration to Next.js and immediately brought structure to a messy release cycle. He rebuilt parts of our portal architecture, streamlined the launch process, and helped us cut clinic onboarding time from several days to about an hour.

Omar K.

Omar K.

Founder

We brought Alex in to help us ship the first version of our product. He set up CI/CD, implemented the initial customer-facing features, and left us with clear documentation that the team still relies on.

Mia A.

Mia A.

Design Director

Alex bridged design and engineering effortlessly. He built our Storybook-based design system, formalized accessibility guidelines, and ensured Figma components matched production one-to-one. Collaboration with him was smooth and efficient.

Roman B.

Roman B.

CTO

Alex took ownership of our automation project, worked closely with the backend team, added proper observability, and helped us review issues in a calm, constructive way. His work cut the amount of manual reporting our analysts had to do by around 40%.

Sara K.

Sara K.

Operations Lead

Weekly async updates, clear written walkthroughs, and thoughtful communication helped keep our globally distributed stakeholders aligned at all times. Alex made remote collaboration feel easy and predictable.

Engineering Manager

We initially hired Alex for a small AI prototype, but he ended up delivering a production-ready service. He handled the architecture, integrations, and security considerations, enabling us to go live without rework.

About me

Full-stack engineer focused on reliable services, accessible UIs, and teams that enjoy shipping together.

In school, I fell in love with mathematics and quickly discovered my passion for creative tools—learning After Effects for video editing and Illustrator for design. At the end of school, a close friend inspired me to pursue programming. I taught myself the fundamentals, aced the entrance exams, and got accepted to the best university in my region.

During university, I continued self-studying programming languages alongside my coursework. Eventually, I landed a job teaching an advanced Python course for 16-17 year olds through a major IT company. That's when everything clicked—I was assigned to build the backend for an existing frontend project. Creating that backend awakened something in me: I wanted to know if I could build a complete application from scratch, both frontend and backend. From that moment, I became obsessed with full-stack development.

I started building my own projects in my spare time, falling in love with the process of turning ideas into reality. When I decided to relocate to another country and needed to find work, my portfolio became my passport. Without formal industry experience, I landed my first position—proof that passion, curiosity, and shipping working projects matter more than a traditional resume.
